OLA REDONDA. (Circle Wave) is a 14-acre property located in the low hills of La Balsa de Puerto Jimenez on the Osa Peninsula. The property is 3 kilometers from the town of Puerto Jimenez on improved public roads. This Titled private sanctuary is served by its own water system and electricity is solar generated on-site as well. The owner has lived on the land since 2003. The property consists of two ridges of hills that are bisected by a rainy-season creek. The property is bounded by the La Balsa road and by Quebrada Victoria. Victoria is a year-round stream that forms the lower boundary of the property and passes through a portion of the land. 90% of the property is in its natural state. Vegetation is indicative of the lowland rainforest here on the Osa Peninsula with secondary tree growth and some primary forest trees along the creek and stream. Ridgetop sites offer wide overlooking views of the forest canopy and surrounding lands. There are views of the ocean waters of the Golfo Dulce. The sound of the surf on the nearby beaches can be heard. The property supports a great variety of wildlife and birds. There are approximately 1.5 kilometers of trails on the property that access the stream and view sites in the "jungle" areas of the land. These jungle areas comprise approximately 11 acres of the overall land area at Ola Redonda. The properties surrounding Ola Redonda are privately held.
